Currently freaking out because if you take high school and driving in the rain out of the equation, I’ve had a fantastic week!
And there are just so many things for me to be excited about, which means it’s time for a bullet point list FUCK YEAH I LOVE THESE
- I have almost everything worked out for prom: I have my dress, my group got our method of transportation worked out, I don’t have to pay for my ticket, we’re pretty sure we know where to go eat, etc. etc.
- Usually big events like that find me scrambling to do everything at the last minute, so it’s nice to have a couple months’ breathing room :)
- Soccer season just started! Even though I’m not crazy about the way we’re doing things thus far, I love soccer too much to care. I can’t wait to play and especially to do our weird senior tradition of spray painting our cleats gold!
- I GOT INTO MY TOP TWO COLLEGES ASDFLJASIODGFHALJDFAIGSDFASDHSDF
- I found out about Sewanee on Wednesday. I qualify as a semifinalist for their Scholars Weekend, which means that if I’m a finalist I get to see that gorgeous campus again.
- I found out about Emory last night, and I qualified as a semifinalist for Emory’s Oxford Scholars program. When I went to Emory last spring break I only got to see its main campus, so if I’m accepted as a finalist I get to see the Oxford campus, too!
- Life is awesome, etc. etc.
